Artistic Statement

Apps to rooms is an artistic creation of mine in relation to the famous applications Netflix and Instagram and they are part of a bigger digital collection. The creation of these specific artworks was inspired from the continuous usage of smartphones nowadays but also on the huge streaming anode especially Netflix and also at Instagram's peak in the last years. As for my creation "Pokeballs" the inspiration was my younger years and the engagement with the specific game.

My purpose is to visualize the applications' usage from the people and the emotions that are created by them. All my artwork was created in 3d software.Regarding the rooms i tried to express a realistic - dramatic feeling with the usage of specific obejcts and the right lighting. These two rooms are the first part of a digital collection with similar creations. These will be 3d rooms in which everyone of it will represent a specific application.

This kind of art is called isometric ( with no perspective) and is influenced from the creator Roman Klco, who is a famous creator using this kind of visual representation.

The rooms have as a purpose to give a shape to the applications and give them life in the eyes of the viewer and create a familiar feeling. As of my creation Pokeballs i wanted to give life on a memory i had as a child, and in the fact that i always wanted to see how it will be for these things to exist in real life. For this specific reason i used textures and materials that human is used to.
